PCB exposure leads to skin abnormalities. Effects may be retardation of foetal growth and alteration of calcium metabolism related to hormonal disfunction. PCBs also cause cancer of the liver, biliary tract and gall bladder.

Reduce exposure.

They are persistent in the environment, bioaccumulates in the human food chain, forms extremely toxic substances on thermolysis and contaminates the environment.
