Dinoseb appears to be readily absorbed through the skin. Estimates of workers (applicators, mixers, loaders, etc) exposure based on field measurements, a NOEL of 3 mg/kg/day and assuming 100% dermal penetration show virtually no margin of safety for potential birth defects for women of child-bearing age event with use of state-of-the-art protective farm equipment.
