This pesticide has not been registered for use in Trinidad & Tobago because of its highly toxic nature. As a result the pesticides and toxic chemicals control board has prohibited the manufacture, importation, trade and use of HCH. This is in keeping with provisions under the pesticides and toxic Chemicals control act 1979 and the pesticides regulations of 1987.
